Cloverfield (2008) เรื่องย่อ/Synopsis/ ร็อบ (ไมเคิล สตัห์ล-เดวิด) เห็นว่างานเลี้ยงอำลาของเขาเป็นโอกาสอันดีที่จะสารภาพความรู้สึกที่ไม่เคย ถูกเปิดเผย แต่ความสนุกสนานต้องสะดุดลง เมื่อทุกคนดูการรายงานข่าวแผ่นดินไหว จากนั้นหลังคาก็พังลงมา สะเก็ดดาวพุ่งลงมาจากฟากฟ้าเต็มไปหมด ตามมาด้วยการทำลายล้าง ความสับสนและตื่นกลัวเกิดขึ้นเมื่อผู้เข้าร่วมงานต้องเดินโซเซไปบนถนนที่มืด มิด ท่ามกลางเสียงกรีดร้องและเสียงคำราม ร็อบและเพื่อนๆ พบว่าสิ่งรอบๆ ตัวนั้นเปลี่ยนแปลงไป โดยฝีมือของสิ่งที่เหนือคำบรรยาย น่ากลัว และดุร้าย!!! Cloverfield follows five New Yorkers from the perspective of a hand-held video camera. The movie is exactly the length of a DV Tape and a sub-plot is established by showing bits and pieces of video previously recorded on the tape that is being recorded over. The movie starts as a monster of unknown origin destroys a building. As they go to investigate, parts of the building and the head of the Statue of Liberty come raining down.
